I thought this year would be the worst year ever. I didn't have any classes with my two best friends – we didn't even have lunch together. The first day turned out pretty well though! I still got to see my two best friends and a lot of my other friends! I ended up having classes with some of my other friends, too.

Since my two best friends and I haven't been around each other as much this year, I'm finding that it makes the time we spend with each other now more valuable. Now, I'm almost thankful I don’t have any classes with my two best friends. It has given me time to meet new people and become closer to some of the friends I already had but didn't spend much time with. Even though I was a little bummed at the beginning of the school year, it has turned out to be one of the best years of school I have had in my life! This 9th grade year has actually turned out to be the best year ever.
