Classes Poet's Corner By Kaitlyn Osborn There’s never enough space To say every word Why should it matter They can’t all be heard There’s never enough space To hear every sound Until the echo brings it back The other way around There’s never enough space To always be strong At one time or another We will be obviously wrong There’s never enough space To perceive every rhyme Sooner or later We all run out of time There’s never enough space To watch every dance The memories of yesterday Ultimately capture us in a trance There’s never enough space To sing every note In an instant we realize We can no longer float There’s never enough space To gain all we desire If we try to do so We will only catch fire There’s never enough space To always say yes We must set our boundaries And therefore progress There’s never enough space To forever exist in a dream We must come back to reality And play our part on life’s team There’s never enough space To constantly compare Harsh words that we speak Can be hard to repair There’s never enough space To be scared of the sky Doing so only prevents us From learning to fly There’s never enough space To fear any scar For when the battle is won It reminds us who we are There’s never enough space To describe every emotion Some will remain undefined In the midst of daily commotion There’s never enough space For all to go as we planned Eventually we must discover How our flexibility should expand There’s never enough space To paint every color To record such magnificence Would only make the world smaller There’s never enough space To be overprotective We eventually must mature And gain new perspective There’s never enough space To hang about our regret We must teach ourselves How to forgive and forget There’s never enough space To win every race But we cannot let that keep us From striving for first place
